He is survived by: his son John Joseph Foster of Mamou, Louisiana; his brother Jude Louis Foster, Sr. (Tina Broussard) of Erath; his sister-in-law Myrina Ann Foster of Opelousas; his nieces and nephews, Schleen Thibodeaux (Trent), Jude Louis Foster, Jr. (Keri), Dana Lynette Castille (Daniel), Matthew James Foster (Kim) and David Lyle Foster (Jessica); and his godchild Dana Castille. He is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews, along with 12 great-great nieces and nephews.
