He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Durio, Sr. and Irene Mallet Durio; his daughter Markeitha Michelle Robertson; and his siblings, Joann Durio, Shirlene Durio Pope, Leroy Durio, Sr., Joseph Durio, Jr. and Alvin Durio.
He is survived by: his sons, Derrick Harris (Alisha) of Kenner, LA and Henry Robertson (Aureil) of Boutte, LA; his siblings, Arthur Durio of Port Barre, LA, Perline Pierre (Harry) of St. Rose, LA, Letha Smith, Mildred Durio, Beverly Pickens of Opelousas, LA, Delores Zachary of Dallas, TX, Annie Mae Holmes and Fannie Holmes (Clifton) of LaPlace, LA; his uncle Medrick Mallet of Waxia, LA; his sister-in-law Anna Rose Durio of Lafayette, LA; and his niece Rose Durio of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
