It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilton Gauthier (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Hilton departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Hilton may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Hilton leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Urise Gauthier; and his siblings-in-law, Dianna Gauthier and Jimmy Wolfe. He is survived by: his mother Rose Gauthier of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and his sisters, Hilda Wolfe of Houma and Sandra Morrison (Dana) of Gray, Louisiana. He is also survived by four nephews and eight nieces.
