She is survived by: her son Nathaniel Babineaux of Opelousas; her stepchildren, William Austin III of Lafayette, Dionne Austin and Angellia Nelson (Harold); and her siblings, Jerry Thomas, Cleveland Thomas (April) of Opelousas, Lilly Thomas (Smokey) and Gladys Thomas of Opelousas. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
