She was predeceased by: her husband Walter James Frank; her parents, Harold Gillis, Sr. and Delia Ann Hayward Gillis; her parents-in-law, Sidney and Viola Austin; her siblings, Harold Gillis, Jr., James Gillis, Doris Ervin, Evelyn Lewis and Shirley Murphy; and her children, Rogers Frank and Effie Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Boyd Frank of Opelousas, LA, Xavier L. Frank, Sr. (Mary Shirry) of Opelousas, LA, Malcolm G. Frank (Barbara) of Opelousas, LA, Wanda Lucas (Keith) of Opelousas, LA, Debra Mack of Opelousas, LA, Cheryl Frank (Harold) of Opelousas, LA and Heather Thomas Smith (Bartholomew) of Opelousas, LA; her sister Alta Mae Calligone of Texas City, TX; and her sister-in-law Lena Gillis of Hitchcock, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mohorn Baptist Church (219 Cosay Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570).
