He was predeceased by : his parents, Luke Ortego and Doris Soileau Ortego; and his son Jack Douglas Ortego, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Sheral Ortego; his children, Gregory Ortego (Michelle), Julie Link (David) and Laura Miller (Patrick); his grandchildren, Ali Link Istre (Trevor), Andre Link (Rani), Addison Link (Nayomi), Garret Miller, Landon Miller, Seth Miller, Luke Ortego and Grace Ortego; his great grandchild Braxton Link; and his siblings, Dennis Ortego and Karleen Vidrine. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
