He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Joseph Gaudet and Lottie Mae Vincent; and his sister Gloria Gaudet Bumpus. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hudson Gaudet; his children, Katrice Gaudet Hadley (Jeff) and Anthony Joseph Gaudet (Tony); and his grandsons, Hudson James Hadley and Samuel Jeffrey Hadley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
