He is survived by: his wife Melinda "Pete" Duplessis Ellis; his children, Jeffery Ellis (Katie), Christopher Ellis (Maggie), Jaime Ellis Girard (Brian) and Joni Ellis; his grandchildren, Austin Ellis, Westin Ellis, Ashton Ellis, Levi Ellis, Lucas Ellis, Madysun Girard, Dalton Girard, Collin Dubuc, Alivia Dubuc and Bryleigh Dubuc; his sisters, Vitula Ellis Dupree and Gloria Ellis Bihm; Carolyn Ellis.
