He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin G. Soileau and Vivian Soileau; his siblings, Gerald Soileau, Sophie Thibodeaux (Joseph), Audrey S. Richard and Shirley Stephenson; his siblings' children, Ramona Lacombe and Marvin Lacombe; and his great-nephew Myles Sebastien.
He is survived by: his brother A. J. Soileau of Washington; and his sibling's children, Gary Thibodeaux (Mona), Randy Lacombe (Laong), Susan L. Hebert (Shane), Billy Stephenson, Stephanie Hebert (Lonnie), Mark Stephenson, Jesse Wretlind (Benjamin) and Jason Soileau (Maria). He is also survived by fourteen great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
