He was predeceased by: his parents, Pharoah Edwards and Elmae Young; and his siblings, Larry Young, Linda R. Young, Joylyn Young, Patricia Chevis and Chaney Batiste.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye G. Young of Branch, LA; his children, Jonas Randy Young, Jr. of Branch, LA and Morgan G. Young of Branch, LA; and his sisters, Rhonda Guidry of Branch, LA and Barbara Williams of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
