He is survived by: his wife Rose Auzenne Newman of Opelousas, LA; his children, Reggie Newman (Ashanti) of Opelousas, LA and Katrena Newman of Opelousas, LA; and his grandsons, Isaiah Newman of Opelousas, LA, Myles Smith of Opelousas, LA, Reginald Newman of Opelousas, LA and Caleb Newman of Opelousas, LA.
