He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ruth Whitlow; his daughter Sandra Brown; and his parents, Henry Lloyd Whitlow and Eula Mae Smith Whitlow. He is survived by: his son Dale Richards (Karen); and his son-in-law Clarence Brown. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (817 E South St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
