She was predeceased by: her husband Mervin Joubert; her parents, Loucious Hunt and Sylvia McCoy Hunt; her sons, Lonnie Hunt, Donald Ray Joubert and Bobby Joubert; her siblings, Marion Hunt, Patrick Hunt, Sr., Mazie Shelby, Evelina Harris and Sarah Hunt Cain; and her grandson Nigel Kyle Gabriel.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Joubert (Averil) of Opelousas, LA, Marvin Joubert (Linda) of Opelousas, LA, Michael Joubert of Opelousas, LA, Christopher Joubert (Cynthia) of Opelousas, LA, Barbara Joubert of Opelousas, LA and Rhonda Florence (Winston, Jr.) of Abilene, TX; her brother-in-law Clarence Shelby of Houston, TX; and her godchildren, Corey Davis, Raywood Joubert and Janet Hope.
