He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester "Vest" White and Josephine Dargin White; his grandson Jude White; and his siblings, Phillip White (Evelyn), Edmonia White Guillory (Vincent) and Lorena White Eaglin (Howard).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Williams White of Opelousas; his children, Patrick Lee White (Brenda Ann LeBlanc), James Clifford White (Christine Marie Landry) and Debra Anne White Duckworth (William Drew Duckworth I) of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Derek Anthony White, Melissa Renée White, William Drew Duckworth II and Cody Michael Duckworth (Rebecca Smith Duckworth); and his great grandchild Remi Genevieve Duckworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (291 Thibodeaux Rd, Opelousas, LA 70550). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Holy Family Cemetery (291 Thibodeaux Rd, Opelousas, LA 70550).
