In loving memory of Lillian Credeur (Opelousas, Louisiana), who departed this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Lillian leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Lillian may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lillian touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ballard Credeur; her parents, Joseph Albert Hargroder and Lillian Opry; and her siblings, Leo Hargroder, Larry Hargroder, Shirley Baker and Wanda Gautreaux.
She is survived by: her children, James Ballard Credeur (Sadie) of Lafayette, Michael Trent Credeur (Pam) of Leonville and Lillian Nedia Credeur Savoy (Charles) of Port Barre. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bellevue Memorial Park (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
