He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kidd Leger; his daughters, Nancy Leger of Lafayette, Henrietta Castille (Doak) of Lafayette and Cindy Joubert of Maurice; his brother Roland Leger of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Nicholas Leger (Jamie), Ashley Leger, Lindsey Joubert, Brittney Castille, Bryce Castille (Brittany) and Chelsie Sillavan (Forrest); and his great grandchildren, Blaze, Issac, Gracie, Beau, Adelynn, Ainsley, Coltyn, Marleigh, John, Grayson, Everleigh, Kaiser, Landon, Braiden, Davie and Asher.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
