She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Irvin, Jr.; her daughter Lillian Latoria Irvin; her parents, Murphy Stevens and Georgiana Stevens; and her siblings, Murphy Stevens, Jr., Eva Clark and Matilda Stevens.
She is survived by: her sons, Peter Jemard Irvin Thomas of Sunset and Scottie Thomas of Sunset; her grandchild Asanti Latoria Burns; her great grandchildren, Eiress Griffin and Ladarrien Griffin, Jr.; and her sisters, Louana Stevens of Eunice and Joyce Vallare of Eunice.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
