She was predeceased by: her grandson Seth Labbe; her husband Murray Labbe; her parents, Eraste Charles and Cassie Ledoux Charles; her brothers, Burton Charles and Adler Charles; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Morain Charles and Terry Rozas.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted Labbe (Melinda) of Opelousas, LA, Barry Labbe (Joan), Bryan Labbe Opelousas (Gina) and Kevin Labbe (Lori); her grandchildren, Amanda Labbe Menard (Travis), Caitlyn Labbe Hobbs (Josh), Cody Labbe (Celia), Drew Labbe (Shayna), Sarah Labbe Lopez (Ieric), Kyle Labbe, Emily Labbe Pitre (Sam), Jacob Labbe, David Labbe, Evan Labbe Shelby Labbe (Hailey), Cassie Labbe Robin (Storm) and Christian Labbe; and her sister Judy Charles Rozas of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by her sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Landry Catholic Church (1020 N Main St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
