She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Pickney, Sr. of Opelousas, LA; her mother Geraldine Murray Andrus of Opelousas, LA; her children, Raylon Pickney of Opelousas, LA, Rayshawn Pickney of Opelousas, LA, Joseph Pickney, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Ramya Pickney of Opelousas, LA and Raylene Pickney of Opelousas, LA; her siblings, Donald Andrus (Gloria) of Port Barre, LA, Hertley Andrus (Rita) of Opelousas, LA, Ronald Andrus (Sabrina) of Opelousas, LA, George Andrus (Amanda) of Opelousas, LA, Lydia Rideau (Ray) of Palmetto, LA and Charlene Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA; her grandchildren, Raylee Pickney of Opelousas, LA and Rylin Pickney of Opelousas, LA; her father Lionel Andrus, Sr.; her siblings, Rev. Lionel Andrus, Jr., Michael Cooper and Emma Taylor; and her nephews, Ray Rideau and Jermaine Andrus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Community Chapel Church of God in Christ (1606 College Ave, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
