He is survived by: his children, Michael Riggins, Jr. (Toni) of Thornton, CO, Gary Wilson (Penia) of Little Rock, AR, Angel Riggins of New Orleans, LA, Delisa Riggins of New Orleans, LA and Mary Lemon (Earnell) of New Orleans, LA; and his siblings, Edward Riggins (Brenda) of New Orleans, LA, Moses Riggins of New Orleans, LA, Larry Riggins (Doris) of New Orleans, LA, Donald "John" Riggins of Opelousas, LA, Katherine Phoenix of New Orleans, LA, Betty Thomas of Opelousas, LA and Donna "Carolyn" Comeaux of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Live Oak Baptist Church (923 Foster St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
