He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pitre and Lena Pitre; his siblings, Joseph Thomas and Mary Chenevert; and his sons, Brian and Jonathan Pitre.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Brouillard; his children, Kevin Pitre of California, Nolen Pitre, Jr. of California, Richard Powell of Arizona, Darien Powell of California, Edna Kaigler of Louisiana, Mariah Tyrell of New York, Simone Pitre of Louisiana and Mellissa Pitre Johnson of California; and his siblings, Paul Pitre of Louisiana, Vernon Pitre of Texas, Vernice Brown of Texas and Augustine Moore of Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Pentecostal Church (1437 Judson Walsh Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
