She is survived by: her husband Charles Bourgeois of Opelousas; her daughter Romona Kolder Sonnier (Lerlyn) of Opelousas, LA; her granddaughter Samantha Sonnier Anding (Paul) of Lafayette, LA; and her great grandchildren, Waylon, Isla and Colt Anding.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Guidry Funeral Home (219 N Broadway St, Church Point, LA 70525). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Catholic Chapel (529 Augustus St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John Cemetery (515 Cathedral St, Lafayette, LA 70501).
