He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Marie Lewis; his parents, Alex Gallow and Larina Clark Gallow; his siblings, Alex Gallow, Jr., Carrrie Rosette and Catherine Gallow; and his nephews, Charles Christopher Gallow and Christopher Keith Gallow.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Leday of Opelousas, LA, Paul Lewis of Magnolia, OH, Chantelle Breaux (Michael, Sr.) of Lafayette, LA and Christopher Frank of Ville Platte, LA.; his siblings, Donald Gallow (Linda) of Opelousas, LA, Mary Gallow of Lafayette, LA, Barbara Bias (Ray) of Opelousas, LA and Betty Calvin (Donald) of Opelousas, LA; his grandchildren, Ke'Yanna Lewis, Khandi Lewis, Aleyda Miller, Janiya Lewis, Michael Breaux, Jr., Jazmine Breaux and Kaisten Valyan; his great grandchild Josiah Owens; and his close friend Ruby Collins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home - Opelousas (817 E South St, Opelousas, LA 70571). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (3283 US-167, Opelousas, LA 70570).
