He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mazone and Madeline Mazone; and his siblings, Josephine Taylor, Alice C. Nolan, Joseph Mazone, William Mazone, Jr., Phillip Mazone, Cornelius McKnight, Elouise Muller, Walter R. Mazone, Chester Mazone and Hilda Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Mazone of Palmetto, LA; his children, Paul Mazone (Karen) of Palmetto, LA, Stephanie Mazone of Palmetto, LA and Tammie Mazone of Palmetto, LA; his sisters, Wilda Flemmings of Corpus Christi, TX, Annie Romar (Warren) of Morrow, LA, Rose Dumes (John) of Palmetto, LA and Juanita Edwards of Palmetto, LA; his grandchildren, Karenisha Recard (Darious), Briana Mazone, Markianna Mazone, Maci Mazone and Mason Mazone; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Recard, Kenzli Record and Damien Orbro, III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. James Baptist Church (3378 US-167, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Baptist Church Cemetery - Bayou Chicot (3378 US-167, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
