He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick Thomas and Mary Lee Faul. He is survived by : his wife Vickie Thomas; his children, Shane Thomas, Seth Thomas and Tiffany Thomas of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Kassidy Marks, Carson Guidry, Raegan Thomas and Vaughn Thomas; and his siblings, Kert Thomas (Regina) of Lafayette, Phillis Bolton of Pensacola, FL and Stephanie Romero of Lafayette.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
