It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Lee Harrison of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Israel Harrison, Sr.; her parents, Medrick Mallet, Sr. and Rosa Turner Mallet; her siblings, Elijah Mallet, Sr., J. C. Mallet, Sr., Spencer Mallet, Oscar Mallet, Sr., Henry Mallet, Irene Durio and Earlie Griffin; her grandson Keithen Green; and her great grandchild Mason Dawkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Mallet, Sr. (Diane) of Opelousas, LA and Coral Tezeno of Houston, TX; her stepsons, Jimmy Tezeno of Fort Worth, TX and Gilbert Tezeno (Verta) of Fort Worth, TX; her daughters, Terry Mallet of Sunset, LA, Gwen Dawkins (Roosevelt) of Opelousas, LA, Barbara Matthews (Kerry) of Colorado Springs, CO and Angela Sanders (Brian) of Port Arthur, TX; and her brother Medrick Mallet, Jr. of Port Barre, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
