She was predeceased by: her son Dennis Downey; her parents, Eveins Lejeune and Mary Bridget Doucet; and her brother David Lejeune. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Paul Downey of Shiro, TX, Kenneth Downey of Magnolia, TX and Michael Downey of Magnolia, TX; her grandchildren, Randy Downey, Jr., Stephen Hoyt Downey, Bryan Leo Downey, Brianna Downey, Samuel Downey, Shawn Downey and Bella Downey; and her sisters, Emmalene Mequet (Douglas) and Dianne Moore.
A Mass was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Landry Catholic Church (1020 N Main St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
