It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Alfred (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Alfred, Sr. and Irene George Alfred; her brother Louis Alfred, Jr.; her grandparents, Dupre and Bertha George; and her aunts and uncles, Hilda Fisher, Lorenia Greene, Lionel George, Paul George, Bervick George, Murphy George and Junious George.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Monique Alfred, Louis B. Alfred, III and Stephen Dupre Alfred; and her aunts, Rose Williams and Mary Laviolette. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
