She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Savoie, Jr.; her parents, Kerry Sam, Sr. and Betty Chevis Sam; her children, Breshynia La'Tayvia Stagg, Brayden Elijah Sam, Alyssa Trenee'Daggs, Ny'Lai Elzina Sam and Ny'Ree Elizabeth Sam; her stepchildren, Kirsten Savoie and Landon Savoie; her brother Kerry Sam, Jr. (Candace); her mother-in-law Sheila Jackson Savoie; her nieces and nephews, Chase Sam, Levi Sam, Taylor Lewis (Aiden) and Carter Sam; her siblings-in-law, LeDerrick Hunter, Erinton Savoie, Dametra Taylor (Emery) and Sonya Benjamin; and her friends, Janya Joseph, LaShonda Moore, Ekhara Freeman-Sturkey and Sonja Donatto.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church (217 LA-10, Opelousas, LA 70570). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
