She was predeceased by : her mother Gladys Hicks; and her close friend Ray Anthony Rubin. She is survived by : her children, Devrick Hicks (Chassidy) of Opelousas, LA and Tirayshia Augustine (Rondale) of Opelousas, LA; her grandchildren, Devrick, Jr., Dedrick, Jamara, Janara, Cameron, Alex and Parker; her nephews, Trai Hicks (Krystle) of Manvel, TX and Patrick Ned, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; her niece Skylar Hicks (David) of Mt. Belvieu, TX; and her sister Catherine Hicks. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
