Sudds, Harold Sudds, James Carter, Cleveland Carter and Peanut Carter; her grandchildren, Jarrett Washington, Rodney Washington, James "Trey" Washington and Cherita "Muckey" Washington; and her great grandchildren, Chase Washington and Roman Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Bell of Houston, Texas, Yolanda Washington of Los Angeles, Mary Washington of Opelousas, Cherita Washington of Opelousas and Evangeline Washington of Austin, Texas; her sisters, Mary Stevenson, Vera Brown and LaVern Bell; and her grandchildren, Contessa Washington (Carl), Velma "Marie" Washington, Craig Washington, Malik Washington, Trustacy Henry (Dwayne), Tevin L. Griffin, Pebbles Washington, Brittany Charles, Eboni Taylor (Torrey), Carmen Washington, Gabriel Bell, Ghaliya Bell, Sumaiya Talib, Zebadiyah Talib, Yumna Talib, Lamin Talib and Musalla Talib. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Bellevue Street Baptist Church (326 W Bellevue St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
