She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Marie Mayfield of Opelousas, LA and Mathilda Marie Babineaux (Jermaine) of Opelousas, LA; her sisters, Elsie Jones Davis (Cleveland) of Sunset, LA, Helen Journet of Grand Coteau, LA and Loriena Francis (Wilbert) of Houston, TX; and her grandchildren, Christina Thomas (William) of Leonville, LA, Sedrick Mayfield of Opelousas, LA, Ronald Roberts, Jr. of Lafayette, LA, Ryan Keith Mayon, Jr. (Terrell) of Washington, LA, Jasmine Nicole Lazard (Karnell) of Opelousas, LA, Jamari O. Babineaux of Opelousas, LA, Darrien Mayfield (Da'Ja) of Slidell, LA, Theodore Brown of Mamou, LA, Thomas Jay Brown of Opelousas, LA and Devin Brown of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (817 E South St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Live Oak Baptist Church (923 Foster St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
