He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman David Ulmer and Olevia Dubois Ulmer; and his siblings, Audrey L. "Sis" Montgomery, Dora Edna Roach, James H. "Jimmy" Ulmer, William F. "Frank" Ulmer, Jesse W. "Buddy" Ulmer and Ernest H. "Pete" Ulmer.
He is survived by: his wife Noel Clare Heflin Ulmer; his children, Warren Scott Ulmer (Erna) of Burghaslach, Germany, Dana Lynn Ulmer Hilfirty (John) of Mount Pleasant, Stacie Ann Ulmer Edmiston (Cecil) of Ft. Worth and Susan Irene Ulmer Martin (James) of Medora, Indiana; his siblings, Charles A. "Pee Wee" Ulmer of Verda, Susie M. Williams (Marlin) of Montgomery, Ruth I. Edwards (Charles "Eddie") of Lake Placid and Viola "Punkin" May (Johnny) of Gloster, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, Sabrina Ulmer of Geiselwind, Dalton Hilfirty of Placentia, Devin Hilfirty of Flora, Taylor Houston of Belmont and Sydne Edmiston of Ft. Worth, Texas; his stepgrandchild Logan Martin; and his stepgreat-grandchild Adrian Martin of Seymour. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Opelousas "Send Me Initiative" supporting community outreach programs.
