He is survived by: his daughters, Myra Pitre of Lawtell, Karen Pitre Ortego of Plaisance and Tammy Pitre of Plaisance; and his close friend Weida Hargroder of Plaisance. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
