He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Oakley Hicks and Oscar Thompson; his siblings, Ronald Oakley, Robert Hicks, Lawrence Hicks, Anthony "Tony" Oakley, Gladys Hicks Morris and Carol Oakley; and his niece Catherine Hicks.
He is survived by: his sons, Willie A. Glover of Opelousas, LA and Kel K. Oakley of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Raymond Hicks of Shreveport, LA, Hammond Hicks (Catherine) of Opelousas, LA, Donald Oakley (Delores) of Opelousas, LA, Frankie Oakley of San Francisco, CA, Judy Rideau of Crosby, TX, Dorothy Hicks of Opelousas, LA and Gracie Oakley Allen of Opelousas, LA; and his grandchildren, Zyair, Zylah and Kaizon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
