She was predeceased by : her husband Richard Henry Benoit Sr.; her daughter Sherry B. Dufrene; her parents, Oliver Joseph Boyer Sr. and Marie "Lucille" Thomasine Dufrene Boyer; and her siblings, Oliver Jr., Wilfred, Claude Boyer, Agnes Legendre and Mary Durham.

She is survived by : her children, Terry B. Robert (Kelvin) and Richard H. Benoit Jr.; her son-in-law Derril Dufrene; and her grandchildren, Jessica (Ferdie), Tanya (Matt), Brittany (Wesley), Heather (Alvin), Justin, Trey and Makenzie. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
