He was predeceased by : his parent Amel Gunther; his wife Gloria Jean Leger Gunther; his son Michael Joseph Gunther; his mother Agnes Gaspard Gunther; his brother Lawrence; and his sister-in-law Carol Gunther.
He is survived by : his daughter Shelley Gunther; his grandchildren, Adriane Kyle Watson and Michael Lee Dobbs; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Zane; and his sister Mary Gunther Menard (Charles). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1011 First St., Patterson, LA 70392, for Masses to be said for the repose of his soul.
