With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Revon Dangerfield of Patterson, Louisiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her mother Enola Virgina Williams Grogan; her stepfather Charles Edwin Grogan; her father Joseph (Bonds); her grandparents, Mildred Green and Bernie C. Williams; her siblings, Robert Brumfield Jr., Miltron Johnson and Leon Henderson; her uncle Andrew M. Green; her grandson Nicholas Dangerfield; her children, Grady Gray and Delores Roberson; and her grandson Qua'Land Roberson.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Dangerfield, III (Bragidda) of Alexandria, Louisiana and Lazetta Hankerson (Harold) of Marietta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Marquis Dangerfield of Lafayette, Makayla Dangerfield of Natchitoches, Simone, Hailey and Harold Hankerson, III; her siblings, Verice Johnson of Lafayette, Norma Jean King of Lombard, Elandra Henderson of Chicago and Leroy Gims Jr. of New Iberia, Louisiana; her aunt Deborah Green of Independence, Missouri; her son Joseph Gray, Jr. (Loretta) of Lafayette, Louisiana; and her granddaughter A'yeala Owens of Lafayette, Louisiana. She is also survived by nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, great great niecs/nephews, god-children, cousins, and many friends.
