He was predeceased by: his parents, Annalois Boyles (James Daniel "JD" Guidry) and Greg Boyles; and his niece Gloria Marks. He is survived by: his friends, Lee Lamury, Mark Gowan and Jerry Gauthier; his wife Joan Campbell Guidry; his children, Joy Gachassin (Joey), Richard Guidry (Heidi), Kelli Klenert, Katie Sanchez (Daniel), Kristen Klenert and Tawnya Carr (Matthew Rice); his grandchildren, Rebekah Alphonso, Jacob Klenert, Christopher Barnett, Brodi Borurque, Tyler Exnicious, Campbell Klenert, Maddison Exnicious and Jude Guidry; and his siblings, James Guidry (Annette), Patricia Boyles, Gary Guidry (Phyllis) and Jennifer Mayon (Kirk). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Word of Life Family Church (108 Ryan St, Patterson, LA 70392).
Ricky Anthony Guidry, 69, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2025 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
