It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Veron Duhon (Paulina, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Charles Duhon, Jr.; her son Lloyd Charles Duhon, III; her grandson Cole Duhon; her parents, Hendricks Veron, Sr. and Cecile Octavie Gaudet Veron; and her sibling Hendricks Veron Jr. (Ina).

She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Duhon (Beki) and David Duhon (Michelle); her grandchildren, Chelsea Graves (Jacob), Drake Duhon (Matt), Taylor Duhon (Paige), Jordan Duhon (Kelcie), Cody Duhon (Rebacca), Matthew Duhon, Brennan Duhon (Michal), Taylor Millet (Marcus) and Tamara Blanchard (John); her siblings, Lynette Poche (Mahlon), Neil Veron (Kay), Daniel Veron (Sheila) and Gaston Veron (Yvonne); and her brother-in-law Nolan Bourgeois (Yvonne). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
