He is survived by: his wife Barbara Conners Alessi; his daughter Robin Alessi Dutruch; his grandchildren, Amanda Swartz (Bryan) and Tyler Dutruch (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Conner Swartz, Elliott Swartz, Tyson Swartz and Owen Swartz.
