We announce the death of Lola M. Monroe of Pearl River, Louisiana, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 81. Lola will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Ramon Monroe; her sons, Hollis "Jimmy" Monroe and Charles Allen Monroe; her parents, Charles P McCawley and Mary McCawley; and her siblings, Charles McCawley, Donnie McCawley and Vickie Warchol.
She is survived by: her children, David Monroe, Robin Riley (Jon), Ramon Monroe (Virginia), Randy Monroe (Beverly) and Rhonda Richardson; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Monroe; and her sisters, Mary Duplesses (Anthony), Gaynell Chatham (Ronnie) and Susan Sortina (Louie). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
