With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Mae Clark of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Mae Clark to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vester Clark, Sr.; her sons, Vester Clark, Jr. and Joseph Tucker; her parents, John Elvin and Edna Mathis; her siblings, James Mathis, Charles Mathis, Elmer Mathis and Willie Droddy; and her grandson Calvin Joseph Ainsworth.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Tucker of Mamou, Kathy Maricle (Danny) of Ville Platte, Diane Tucker Duplechien of Alexandria, Tammy Ware (James) of Plainview, Becky Ware (Keith) of Oakdale and Felicia Ware (Gary) of Oakdale; and her siblings, Johnnie Mathis of Las Vegas, Nevada and Elvie Jeane Miller of Florida. She is also survived by seven stepchildren; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McCormick Cemetery (44440 Turkey Creek, LA 70585).
