It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Mae Deshotel of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Glenn Deshotel; her parents, George Hebert and Della Hebert; and her brothers, Nary Hebert and Lionel Hebert.

She is survived by: her children, Duane Deshotel, Sr. of Ville Platte and Charlene Gibson (Todd) of Holden; and her siblings, Ricky Hebert of Ville Platte, Audrey Hebert Vidrine (Donald) of Mamou, Elaine Hebert Collinson of Gray and Debbie Hebert Fontenot (John) of Ville Platte. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
