He was predeceased by: his daughter Stephanie St. John; his parents, Dee Mack and Lessie Ryland Perkins; and his siblings, Beatrice Dennis, Leatrice Mabry, Barbara Foote, Cherry Richardson, Fred Perkins and Dale Perkins.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Ryan Perkins, Kevin Perkins, Kolby Perkins, Alvin Bruce Perkins III, Scott St. John, Cody Weishuhn, Igor Lebedev and Jake Autry; his wife Nyla Humbles Perkins; his children, Alvin Bruce Perkins, II (Lisa), Konrad Perkins (Kahne) and Sheila Perkins; his son-in-law Philip St. John; and his siblings, Velma Slayter and Dee Perkins. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
