She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert "Bill" Smith, Sr. and Vicky Barton Smith; her sons, Gary "Peanut" Alberes (Theresa Ann) and Merlin "Sonny" Alberes, Jr.; and her siblings, Bill Smith, Wilbert Smith, Jr., J. L. Smith, Geri Caruso (Joe), Brenda Smith (Jessie) and Marie Gomez (Lloyd).
She is survived by: her husband Jerry L. Morgan; her son Brett P. Alberes; her daughter-in-law Theresa Kelso Alberes; her grandchildren, Candace "Candy" Alberes, Jason Alberes, Amanda Smith, Dawn Alberes, Venessa Alberes Franks (Brandon), Todd Alberes, Sunnie Alberes Hines (Andrew), Dillon Alberes and Lucy Alberes; and her brother-in-law Jessie Smith. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
