He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Boswell and Freida Boswell. He is survived by: his wife Shirlene Knight Boswell of Simpson, LA; his children, Sherwin Fletcher of Sharp, LA, Shelia Stephens (Jammy) of Simpson, LA and Jackie Kelly (Kenneth) of Simpson, LA; his siblings, Hershel Boswell (Wanda) of Simpson, LA. and Elsie Morgan of Calhoun, LA; and his grandchildren, Jessica Doyle (Quenten) of Simpson, LA, Brittany Pitre (Wesley) of Kinder, LA and Mackenzie Strickland (Dylan) of Rosepine, LA. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pineland Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Knight Cemetery.
