She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover McLain and Dovie McLain; and her siblings, Grover C. McLain, Jr., Nancy Carrington, Hazel Slocum and Gladys Hines.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Hesse of Prospect; her children, Henry Clair (Sue) of Lake Charles, Mark Clair (Cathy) of Little River, William Clair of Pollock and Mary Frazier (Bill) of Pineville; and her stepdaughter Cyndie Hempel (Chris) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
