It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Deloris Sweat of Pineville, Louisiana, born in Treece, Kansas, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Peace and Grace Peace; and her husband Ephraim Sweat. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Taylor, Debora Bolton (Jerry) and Rhonda George; her grandchildren, Melissa Taylor, Gwenevieve Sanders (Patrick), Jessica Milton (William), Francine Sharpley (Bobby), Constance Cranford, Shawn Pletcher, Shannon Worthington, Timothy George and Casey Hawrylak (Sean); her great grandchildren, Izaiah, Caiden, Sylvia, Stormie, Brooke, Alana, Natalie, Ryan, Michael (Kandice), T. J. and Kynlee; and her siblings, Morris Peace, Pearl Hirshey and Charlene Trainor (Joe). She is also survived by her mom, dad, sisters, brother, aunts and uncles.
