He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Lynn Chandler and Jimmy Layne Chandler; his siblings, Edward Chandler, Jr. and Brenda Lee Crayon; his stepmother Mae Lewis Chandler; his spouse Johnnie Belle Williams; his children, Frank (Sarah Patricia "Pat" Blackwell) and Kathy Kupperschmid (Robert); his stepson Wylie Blackwell; his half-sister Eddie Mae Weatherford; his grandchildren, Devin Jackson (Rebecca), Ariel Hooker (Andrew), Haley Hennings (Nick), Eric Kupperschmid (Diana) and Justin Kupperschmid (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Remy, Mara Hooker, Roxy, Cid Jackson, Ingrid Hennings, Abigayle Walters, Brenden Fox, Madison Kupperschmid and Tyler Brandt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Rush Funeral Home - Pineville (3307 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
